Iván’s voice has become synonymous with the morning routines of children and parents in Laredo. Women, specifically, appreciate his engaging and relatable style, making the Digital Morning Show a daily must-listen on their commutes. After over a decade of living in the area, Iván has fully immersed himself in Laredo’s culture, proudly identifying as a Laredoan.
Iván’s passion for media led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in communications from Texas A&M International University. During his studies, he actively engaged with the local arts scene, collaborating with organizations dedicated to theater, comedy, and music. His early radio experience included live broadcasts on XHBK-FM, which eventually led to a prime-time show. Over the years, Iván has held various roles, including Production and Promotions, as well as Programming and Administration.
Since November 2021, Ivan became part of the voices for Digital 94.9 and by the end of 2022, Ivan was able to establish the Digital Morning Show among one of the most listened radio shows in Laredo, Tx. Specifically leading in female audiences. The highlight of his show is the “Digibus,” a segment where hundreds of kids participate in a daily basis before going to school.
On top of being an on-air talent, he proudly holds the position of Promotions & Events Manager at Radio United, executing the greatest station event.
